Well, I had a little excitement while I was waiting for Ruth's flight.
I went to the Anchorage Municipal library to use the internet for an
hour, then I fixed a program that kept track of miles and expenses and
as I was leaving, I noticed a café that I visited for a coffee. The
idea is that I spent about 2 hours in the library all together killing
time before Ruth arrived; however, when I returned to the bike, I
discovered that I'd left my key in the bike and the battery of the
bike was dead. I stopped a few folks both entering and leaving the
library checking for someone with jumper cables but soon gave up and
called my RV Roadhelp (Allstate road serv ice). They got someone to
me within about 45 minutes and we got the bike running. I then took
it for a ride on Hwy 1 to recharge the battery.
I then found my way to the airport about an hour early and watched
military folks come in while waiting for Ruth.
Ruth made it about 9 PM and we loaded the bike and headed for Roger's.
We got to Roger's and Ruth was amazed about how light it still was.
